For more information about this website: I'm not necessarily here to convince you of anything. Wait. Yes, I am. While I write about a lot of different things, there is one thing you need to keep in mind, even if I don't always put it in your face. I get off topic from time to time—maybe more than I should—as the political junkie in me seems to find a lot of shiny objects out there. The one thing you need to take away from this site is that Jesus Christ is King. There's a lot of misinformation out there about who, exactly, Jesus is. There's a lot of misinformation out there about what, exactly, Christianity is. Unfortunately, this misinformation permeates everything we do from our personal lives to politics, and worse, our relationship with Jesus. You cannot have a good, healthy, relationship with Jesus if you don't understand who He is, and where He's coming from, no better than you can have a good, healthy relationship with your neighbor if you don't understand who he is, where he's coming from. The primary source for everything on this website is the Bible. Scripture. The Word of God. I use other sources to help clarify at times, and to make sure my thinking stays grounded, but rest assured, God's Word is God's Word at this site. That doesn't mean I don't make mistakes, or miss things, but it is always my intention to follow God's Word without adding or subtracting to it.
Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you. (Deuteronomy 4:2, NIV)
